The early days eh?Psyber wrote:That sort of speculation was floating around in the early days and reflected over-optimism by academics and politicians.Jimmy_041 wrote:Someone should check Spurrier's medical qualificationsPsyber wrote: Nobody with any medical knowledge ever suggested the jabs stopped you getting it.
The idea was that they stopped you getting it severely.
That's always been the case with Influenza too - a closely related very small virus that mutates rapidly too.
If you dont want to listen to all of it, go to 21:30 for how the "vaccines" prevent you from getting it
Right from the outset it was clear it is a virus very closely related to Influenza and the cold virus and it was obvious it would behave similarly to them.
That means periodical boosters were inevitable.

"How do you protect kids under 12 who can't get vaccinated?
The most important thing for people who have got children under 12: get yourselves vaccinated as parents because you provide that shield around the child. Make sure the grandparents and anybody that's looking after the child; make sure they're vaccinated."
Make sure the dog, the cat, the fish and God are vaccinated as well because?
Well, I'm not sure whether its because they won't catch it or they don't pass it on or is it both?
And, I might add, they continue to propagate these myths knowing full well that they have been proven untrue
As for: reflected over-optimism by academics and politicians.
1. She has medical knowledge. In fact she, actually, has far more than that. She has a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery, a Graduate Diploma in Epidemiology and a PhD.
2. More importantly, she is South Australia's Chief Public Health Officer FFS! That is neither academia or politics. I'll throw the CPHO's in Qld, NSW & Victoria under the same bus for propagating the same falsehoods.
3. There is no, and never has been any, qualification to these assertions that they are/were not 100% true. Their actions were/are not "speculation". These are statements made as "fact".
4. If the people with medical qualifications within the States' Health Departments knew that these statements were speculation, why didn't they advise that the advice was unsafe?
5. If the medical "fraternity" knew that these statements were speculation, where are the protests and counter advice from them? (To their credit, some have, and have subsequently been terrorised by AHPRA for their honesty)
People have lost their jobs, been jailed, vilified and victimised because of all these people and their actions.
As for the wholesale concealment of the side effects of these jabs + the intimidation of those that speak out: that is just at a whole different level

Re: Coronavirus (Covid19)
I got more side-effects from my Influenza jab than from any of my four Covid jabs.
Also my one episode of actual identified Covid back in March (between the third and fourth CV jabs) was less troubling than the Influenza jab.
I did catch a wog on a cruise around NZ in December 2019 - that knocked me around a fair bit for about 2 months - enough to leave me wondering now whether that was Covid brought in early with one of the flown in entertainers travelling from cruise ship to cruise ship..

Re: Coronavirus (Covid19)
Wife and I had 4th jab on Friday (all Pfizer) and as per the first three had no reactions at all. Slight sore arm but nothing more. Very easy process.Bum Crack wrote:Had my 4th Covid jab yesterday. I'm regretting it today. Have had a thumping headache since yesterday arvo, my whole body is aching from head to toe and I am very lethargic. Despite being very tired, I was unable to get any sleep last night due to my body aching so much. Haven't had anywhere near this type of reaction before with the other shots.

Great news for you, the current monkeypox vaccine is the smallpox vaccine which you likely have already had.Jimmy_041 wrote:Time to line up for your panic jab

Re: Coronavirus (Covid19)
Well.. turns out i'm not immune
Felt average Monday - negative
Tuesday morning was ok - negative.. then heading to work felt bit lethargic.. soldiered on, got to junior footy training that night and went downhill - by the end of training I had no energy, could hardly talk and had this annoying little cough.
Went home, did a RAT - came back positive (albeit faint), and from there went downhill real quickly. Had a hot shower to try and feel better, temp went rocketing up, body was on fire all night - mrs said was like sleeping with an electric blanket next to her.
No energy Wednesday, could hardly stand up, thumping headache, dizzy spells, body aches, really annoying cough and couldn't breathe great. Constant sweats. Had a long hot bath Wednesday afternoon - like literally only hot water - and then crashed out asleep about 6pm, slept until 8:30am the next day.. woke a few times in a pool of sweat - again mrs wasnt impressed, she woke me at one stage, thought i'd pissed the bed.
Yesterday was much of the same, albeit bit better - more just annoying cough and short of breath.. but still no appetite either. Very dehydrated.
Woke up today with a snotty nose, bit short of breath and lingering dry cough but apart from that back to mostly normal. Reminds me a bit like when i was a kid though and had asthma, that sort of short breathiness and if you try taking deep breaths too quickly or breathing out too much then you end up in a coughing fit.
Interesting experience - particularly how fast went it wrecked me.. lost 3kg in 2 days because i had no appetite and couldn't eat. Upside is the kids were nice to me.
