TTG 212 vs Woodville 1/59
Gullies do have McInerney out but don't think that's enough runs to defend

Port 6/364 vs Southerns 0/43
Can't see SD chasing that down. Barrett would need to make a double century.

Sturt 249 vs West Torrens 0/14
Interesting game. Sturt would be disappointed with 249. Lots of batters got starts. I don't think Sturt's attack has enough teeth to defend that score.

Adelaide 220 vs Uni 1/102
Blacks to walk it in

Prospect 182 vs East Torrens 4/90
If the Pirates get Lace and Cranmer early on...? Don't think they have the fire-power though.

Glenelg 210 vs Kensington
You'd think Kensington would be on top with that score but their batting has really struggled this season.

Eagles 7/404 in their rescheduled 1-dayer against Southerns. Kelvin 139 and Mousely 103.

Interesting, wonder if another area will open up, or perhaps someone will take over?

Does say that someone is going to open a cricket only facility in February but I’m not sure where

I did hear that the building was condemned but only from a third party.

They did say they are re-opening 1st of Feb next year.

So no pitch prepared? Seems a common issue out there. Should lose on forfeit. Bet they get to replay it

I think the suggestion was made to move to the paddocks but Prospect advised they will look to secure the points via forfeit. Just an unfortunate circumstance. Is it still the council that does the wickets at Salisbury ?

Showing on Play HQ now that Northerns disqualified, think SACA had no choice. Been rule in ATCA for ages you lose on forfeit if something like sprinklers come on etc, so common sense decision.

And this is supposed to be the most professional level of cricket in South Australia, what a circus. Absolutely embarrassing
This wouldnt happen in a comp out woop woop with volunteers running the show, how can it happen at grade level?
The sooner it gets down to 8 teams the better

Is the T20 ladder determined on Net Run Rate or Quotient?

Quotient first, then if teams tied comes down to run rate. Same as the One day Cup.

So a team that has the Bye and wins its two games goes thru with 100%, eg Kensy in One day cup.

It only happens at one club though, the other 12 are always on the ball. Agree they should be one club to go but like Southerns they represent a large area and so their years and years of mediocrity gets passed over. Why so many go and play in the Barossa that live that side of town

I thought that was the case as the T20 World Cup and BBL is also determined by NRR, not quotient.

Just to be clear, what you are referring to Quotient above is "Points Average" on the Play HQ ladder, which makes sense, given the byes. Tony Clifton's suggestion of 4 games each in the future is much better by the way, but that is for another day...

Quotient on the ladders is the average runs vs wickets, which is the measurement used in the 2-day format to determine ladder position if tied on points.

Net Run Rate (NRR) is a calculation of relative run rate between opponents, which is the measurement used in 1-day and T20 format to determine ladder position if tied on points.

My gripe is, on PlayHQ and MyCricket, they have incorrectly listed the ladders using Quotient, instead of NRR. It may come down to this in determining who finishes top 4.

Currently the ladder displayed for both competitions is wrong, with one round remaining.

T20 Comp Ladder is currently listed as follows:

1. East Torrens 15 Pts Ave 2.221Q 1.457NRR
2. Tea Tree Gully 15 Pts Ave 1.510Q 1.604NRR

I'm not going to type out everything, but can already see from above Tea Tree Gully should be top and East Torrens 2nd and orders are incorrect right down the ladder in both competitions. Perhaps the coaches/captains etc already know all this, but you'd think SACA could get this right for the public and if the coaches/captains are going by the Play HQ ladder, hopefully they get told what is what as it may effect how the last rounds in both competitions plays out.

Agree Aerie, the ladders are all over the place. The whole system is stuffed.

I would just be going on how they have done it in the past. Reckon if teams are tied will be the net run rate to decide.

Think both comps could have one spot up for grabs this way, but also if results go the right way, the top four teams in both will be pretty clear.

I think SACA are grappling with the ins and outs of PlayHQ as much as the rest of us
