Warne
Fleming
McDermott

Good side.
Maybe Bevan or Damien Martyn for Lehmann?
Peter Taylor maybe as well somewhere

Bevan? His strike rate wasn't great if you compared it to today's standards. He excelled when 230 was a par ODI score.

True but his strike rate was as good as any in that era so I reckon he could go another gear for T20.
Plus he could bowl some spin as well.

Always hard to compare different players in different eras

His loopy pus would get hit out of the park in today's game.

I know he saved the day with a couple of magnificent knocks but I found him somewhat selfish at times, he liked the red ink, we only remember the times it paid off.

Tend to agree with LM. Bevan was a 50-over match player. Exactly the bloke you'd want to come in at 4/100 when you're chasing 250 with a reasonable number of overs left. But I can't see him being effective at all in the middle order in T20s.

As good as S Waugh and Border were I don’t really think they are suited to T20.
Hookesy and Dean Jones would have been great to see play it.

I reckon Ian Harvey is an omission.

Retired in 2004 a starred in England in the t20 format.

It was then introduced to international cricket in 20005.

Waugh’s medium pacers would have been handy but not sure Borders left arm orthodox spinners would have been much good.
