Perfectly drilled and good talent everywhere.
Will be top 3 in D1 in 2024
Payneham needs to think very carefully about where to from here because that wasn’t it
Bit of recent history of this happening
On Saturday, the oracle @wristwatcher dropped that they are signing an ex-Centrals Captain

Golden Grove's reserves coach has pulled the pin after 5 or so years at the helm. Any club looking for a coach would be foolish not to sound him out.
As for Div 1 next season, they'll be in the mix from the start. Glenunga went from Div 2 to Top 3 in Div 1 the following season and they didn't dominate Div 2 like GG did. Throw Shane Edwards into the team, plus a couple of Shenton and Johnston's mates and they're likely the team to beat.
They might not have a points issue with former juniors returning, but they're starting to have more people on their payroll than Centrelink.

Yep, Edwards and Luke Habel would be great ins to what they already have.

Golden Grove already offering massive coin to get a quality ruckman. Lucky they are under the cap and following the rules

Rumours circulating GG might be under investigation for the salary cap - not sure how true the rumours are but wouldn’t suprise me.

From memory every team that wins a flag has to be subject to a particular level of scrutiny/audit. Presumably nothing out of the ordinary.

All grand finalists are checked every year.
