Don't mind it.

Not sure it can work for cricket though.
Be interesting to hear how it works, seasons not a long way away.

I would assume this would be for Premier Cricket. The Adelaide Turf Cricket Association manage their own by-laws and rules, so it would have to be an ATCA driven change for this to be implemented i'm sure.

There were several clubs who did provide feedback on proposed by-law changes, however not sure where any of that information has ended up as there hasn't been a delegates meeting since this feedback was submitted. Probably left it too late if they were thinking of making any major changes.

Would have thought the ATCA would watch how it would operate closely.

Although could be complex with some clubs having multiple teams in the 'A' divisions

That's a different Gihan to the one who woukd make certain amount he wanted known before he would agree to entertain a chat, then. And had originally signed for Pooraka for money Port Districts didn't want to match ?

Maybe Sathi heading there as well, obviously all for the love of it to :D

I must say, Gihan is a ripping fella, polite, respectful and a good player. Regardless of pay or not he is a great pick up for Reynella

But they don't pay players a cent

Last week one of this trio asked for 8k sign on and Incentives from a few clubs.

Why not just be honest and say we signed a few to get us back to A1

I obviously don't know anything about Reynella, but I know these blokes pretty well - and they aren't heading anywhere for free.

Eranga's starting asking price is always $10k with the selling point that he can bring half of the sub continent with him.

Not that I'm judging, if you can afford it then happy days, some handy players!

Exactly, if you can afford it and bring in 3 guys that will be pretty strong in A2 with the plan to get back to A1, then good luck.

In other news, how old is Gabb? I can remember watching him churn out bulk runs in SCA when I was like U14 - that's something like 27 years ago!

What a star!
