Glenunga were nothing short of phenomenal today. 14 or 15 goals in a row and they looked the complete unit.

It will take some sort of unforeseen calamity to cause an upset come GF day to stop the Rams now. As good a Division 1 team as i have ever seen.

Div 1 Prelim - Port v PNU @Campbelltown Oval

Will be a great venue to call the game from. Excellent surface and easy parking.

Should be one hell of a game too 2022 Premiers v 2019 Premiers

Wristy, the Rams were unbelievable yesterday. Thought they'd win, but not in the fashion they did. And, with Abe having a quiet-ish day!

I hope you're on the money re: the GF, but I'm not counting my chickens just yet!

They are not in the Grand Final yet old chum.

I think the Prelim will be a very close game

Why is it at Campbelltown oval?
Fair hike for Dizzies supporters

Sorry - I should have put that caveat on there

Totally agree - Dizzies v PNU will be a beauty
And the Heff incidents to really spice it up like the chillie kranskies that only ROCS offer (thanks to Gary Churchill)

The GF will be the usual match up
Prime top side that have only played 2 games in a month v a banged up finals hardened side

Well that’s 3 of the bottom 5 clubs who have parted ways with the their Coaches. Craig Pitt stepping down yesterday.

You’d be better to speak to this than me Jimmy but a couple of Div 1 Premierships and a runner-up is an amazing tenure.

When I offered the over/unders earlier it’s definitely overs as we are not done yet i believe.

As a neutral observer PNU midfield/little men chopped SHOC up badly after 1/2 time and got the ball quickly down to the likes of Viney and Wagner after 1/2 time and put pressure on SHOC defence. A couple of silly 25metres also cost SHOC goals. PNU game plan to move the ball at pace worked well and gave their forward options a good look at it. Slow down their movement and not allow them to throw the ball around like they did might be the key to getting over the top of them and on to face Glenunga in the decider.

That's how Dizzies comprehensively beat PNU in the last game at PNU
PNU were chasing guernseys all day

Pretty sure this is the first year without one of PAOC or ROCS in the top 3 since 2015.

Actually, it's better than that, one of ROCS or PAOC has been in the Grand Final every year since 2015 and ROCS was also in the Grand Final in 2013 and 2014.

Technically ROCS are in a Grand Final this year :D

Are you confident for Saturday Jim. Should be an absolute beauty at Campbelltown. If Nunn, Spence and Gia can impact i think the upset is on the cards. Much will depend on the fitness of Haines. Lycett and Sharrad. Ports best 3 players this year being injured, getting injured and not playing very much effected their performance last Saturday.

Neither result would surprise me.

My main observation is that Campbelltown is a great draw for PNU relative to the old system of home Preliminary Finals

Having said that, last game I was able to get to in person was Port Districts handing PNU a proper hiding at Payneham.

I love footy at Campbelltown
Big wide open space for people to play attacking footy
Too bad the GF is not there

Districts or Falcons....who will go on to face the Glenunga juggernaut? Either side will face a massive hurdle the following week - methinks its Glenunga's to lose and perhaps Grima and Pitman go out with a smile if the rumours about their stepping back are true. Be heartbreak if the Rams slipped again at the final hurdle.

We can become seduced by results during finals but most people going into the finals would have had PD beating PNU if they were to meet in a final. For that reason I'm sticking with PD. Good luck to those heading to Campbelltown to support their club tomorrow. Have a famous ROC chili kransky for me. Double pain for me this season. Relegation and ROC going up to D1 means another year without a ROC kransky.

I don't remember being more uncertain for a tip in any of the previous 94 games in Div 1 this year.

It will definitely be better than last years Prelim.

Sharrad is a huge in but so is Dobson.

If i was on Sportsbet i'd be taking the either team under 15 @ $2.50 and put the girls College fund on it.
