I’d say they only batted with 10 in both digs. If a batter can’t bat for any reason, it gets recorded as all out so the opposition gets the correct bonus points.

I can confirm that Goodwood has no knowledge of anything of this nature - their president confirmed that to me an hour ago. I am hopeful that the person named has no affiliation with them or any other club.

I don't think they are the same person. Article lists the accused as 45 years old.

Anyone know what happened at Hope Valley. According to their Facebook page they didn’t play due to an unsafe pitch. Will that be a forfeit or will it be a one day game next week. There was no real weather issues last week so no reason why a pitch couldn’t be prepared properly.

Edit: the pitch mustn’t have been too bad as Gepps hit 367 on it the next day in the under 17s

Anyone know what happened at Hope Valley. According to their Facebook page they didn’t play due to an unsafe pitch. Will that be a forfeit or will it be a one day game next week. There was no real weather issues last week so no reason why a pitch couldn’t be prepared properly.

Edit: the pitch mustn’t have been too bad as Gepps hit 367 on it the next day in the under 17s

The pitch did play ok yesterday and the poor Hope Valley kids that suffered it are at bottom part of the ladder.
Apparently the day before a few had shot off good lengths within the first half a dozen overs and the umpires deemed it unsafe.
