That sounds like too much work for me to explain to him, it just more made me laugh that he hadn't heard of it along the grapevine in the last week, it's been all over FB and a talking point at work, even a chick at work asked me how am I going to cope.
Did you tell her you've been assembling a cast of thousands in your head over 50 years?
No, I asked if she could move her curtain across to the left slightly, my left.
Wait until she finds out the smoke monitors in the women's change room are fake!

That would have been Will RIvers, I reckon.

It's interesting how Blackwood never cops the same heat as not being country as the SFL teams do, I guess because their league is made up of predominantly country towns.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, the 2026 County season is set to begin with half the usual number of Dukes balls due to the ongoing war in the Middle East.

WTF surely not

I can 100% vouch for this.
All the materials are sourced from the UK and the leather is dyed, cut etc in the UK but they send the balls to Dubai and a couple of other places in the ME for the hand stitching which is labour intensive and time consuming. There are plenty of these sweat shop like facilities in the ME where Pakistani and Bangladeshi’s work for lower than minimum wage.
The balls then get sent back to the UK for final checks and quality control

Our guide showed us one such facility. You had the glitz and glamour of the city with houses having real gold statues, Ferrari’s parked out the front and just 2 streets back you had absolute slums with no running water where 10’s of thousands of these immigrants live and work

Driving home from Henley HS last night after footy training and watch a resident wash/removing what looked to be a drawing of a dick and balls from his fence.

A suspect immediately came* to mind...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Got back from my post lunch walk of the factory (approx. 1.5km) to find a warm, toasted, buttered hot cross bun on my desk, naturally I devoured it thinking I'll just go do another lap to burn it off once finished.

Get back from next lap and then BANG!!! Someone has placed another warm, toasted, buttered hot cross bun sitting on my desk. I looked around, I was waiting for some giggling but there was nothing!

There must have been a bet going on to whether I'd eat it and do another lap.

... and was there a third bun waiting when you returned from your second lap?

I resisted, I had an employee coming to my office shortly later so I gave it to her.

There would've been.

I walk past customer service and announce that I'm not touching the lolly or chocolate jars anymore. 15 minutes later I hear them getting filled so I do a drive by only to see Reece's, Turkish Delights and Twirls to the brim and then snakes, bullets and jubes filling the lolly jar, it's tough walking the long way around.

Is this at work or the film studio for the new series … or are they one and the same?

By the way, when’s the release date?
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

Had a woman start with us Monday, her manager showed her around and showed her where we park, told her there are no designated spots (there's about 8 spaces all up for management).

I came in yesterday and I was on the phone to my daughter when I've come around the corner and gone "oh dear, this isn't good", daughter says "Is someone in your spot?" The answer was yes.

I walked in and seen her manager and said "Gee, someone is messing with my OCD" He knew straight away what had happened and began laughing.

He then said "I'll go let her know, problem is, she parked in my spot yesterday so I had to point that out to her despite me telling her the day before that there's no designated spots".

When I first started a chick told me that it's open slather, I parked in her spot on day two and it was like I shat on her windscreen, I've had the same spot since day 3 and my car was generally the guide for everyone else's spot unitl recently with my later journey to the office.

New girl has the spot next to mine now and everyone is happy.
