Don't go too hard on Willo. It's not his fault that his AFL career AND his SANFL career have now both been stuffed by Mark Williams. I'd welcome him back in a Bays guernsey.

It was nice to watch the EAGLES have a tall functioning Forward Line and a Forward in Sharwze that can take a big grab in the mould of a Kluzek .
I will wait with baited breath to see when Passador returns how the two work together along with Grocke and Salter and which of the two or four get the best defender .
And aren't the Eagle juniors playing league performing greatly.

Still carrying a few players though. I feel J.Pavlich and Fitzgerald would benefit from a full run in the ressies. S Fairclough and Bernie would fill their spots nicely. Passador should be tried on the HF Flank where he can move around or even CHB where he played quite successfully a few years ago. Schwarze seems to offer more versatilty and can take a pack mark which Pass struggles to do.

Eagles are suddenly looking like a powerful outfit. After cruising under the radar all year, sometimes amid unchallenged rumours that they may not even make the five, the reigning premiers have now staked a serious claim to the top three and who knows how far they may go. By most accounts it sounds as though they are still warming up after getting a few players back. September is what it is all about, I think ideally the quiet build up while everyone else is focussing on each other is best. The Eagles have had that luxury this year. Now they're looking a bit too dangerous for my liking.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

The form this year has been: 1 win, 3 losses, 3 wins, 3 losses, 3 wins.

Schwarze, Salter and Grocke look dangerous in the forward line (well they did this week). Schwarze has a got an excellent leap and a good one on one mark as Wedgetail said; while Passador is more of a leading marker.

I agree wedgetail, I think Pavlich and Fitzgerald will benefit a lot from the experience, but feel they will have to make way for some of those coming back.

Because of the athleticism of Salter and Grocke and to a bit lesser extent, Schwarze, I think we can afford to have all 4 big forwards in the forward line. They may regularly swap around from the goal square, out to half forward, or float around the forward line. Like wedgetail says, Passador can play out on a flank or even down back (although not sure he is quite as agile as he was a couple of years ago).

Will be interesting to see who of the following will force their way back into the league team: Fairclough, P Stewart, Passador, Colville, Hall, Batsanis, Petrenko, Inkster, Rugolo, Klun, Vince and McKenzie.

You couldn't fit them all in, but I think the coaching staff must (and would be) wary not to fit them in all at once. The player I think we need out of them the most is the player who is the most weeks away from playing - McKenzie.

McKenzie and Vince will walk back in as soon as they're available I would think. I reckon Passador will be back in this week, maybe off the bench. Colville will hopefully have been spending the first 15 rounds of the season studying Callinan, as I reckon that will be his job when he comes back in the side, maybe in a couple of weeks. Inkster's fitness is unknown, but if we can get some league games in to him soon and he can get through, he'll be a massive bonus. He was one of the best players in the comp last year. Maybe the Sturt match will be his return (fingers crossed).

The rest will have to be burning in the reserves to be considered IMO.

Yeah, I would agree there with that. Colvilles' fitness will have to be top notch for that, but if so, then he should be up to that job.

Firstly i think Joe peddler is lucky that Mackenzie is out injured because IMHO he has been down on form this year.
I agree that fitzgerald should go out in a swap for Fairclough or Klun .Or perhaps Fitzgerald for Passador better goal scoring ability.
The eagles need to fit in P stewart batsanis etc who will go out I'm not really sure perhaps pavalich or duncan .But I really do not want to drop either .
