Atleast 1 Murphy can get of the ground, his dad was nailed to it.

Well done to Flinders Park on going up to Div 2. They have been a strong club for many years but just couldn't get over the line in a fair few Prelims. Probably suprised Modbury who thought they would have been going straight to the GF. Should be a good game next week against Unley.

Last three in it deserve to be there after a consistent showing all season. Interestingly they've all beaten each other at some stage. Flinders Park are definitely peaking at the right moment.. Great year for The Jets whatever happens.. here's hoping we can get the choccies on Saturday and give it a crack in the GF.

Well done to Unley on the weekend. Too good for us. We had some good moments in the 2nd quarter, but other than that Unley controlled the game. Finishing 4th in our first year in Div 3 since 1995 is something the boys should be proud of. We build from here..

It's a shame, I selfishly would have loved a Modbury v Hope Valley Prelim at somewhere like Campbelltown Oval. Would have been a HUGE crowd there. Oh well, wasn't to be!

Good luck to the remaining 3 teams. Tough to pick a premier. Modbury have been the best side all year so you'd think they will get it done this week. But if Unley bring the heat like they did on saturday, who knows. Flinders Park are humming along nicely and have hit their straps at the right time of the year. Any of the remaining 3 teams winning the flag wouldn't be a shock. All very good on their day. I'll go Modbury by 9pts this week in what should be a ripper of a game

Huge, hopefully we can get the C8 grandfinal shifted to an earlier timeslot (currently 12pm at Mitcham) so those players and supporters can make their way to Woodville also.

We are expecting a huge amount of travelling support.

Hope they put a time limit on how long he can explain drills and talk to the players at the breaks. Otherwise it'll be a lot of "me" time...
