Bassani was sentenced to 14 months with a six-month non parole period after admitting to unlawfully using $9,000 of taxpayer money to buy household items while in charge of the SA Aboriginal Sports Training Academy.

Any club who signs Bassani as senior coach is asking for their reputation to be tarnished further.. mistakes or not, sorry or not.. the bloke ripped off SAASTA.. an organisation designed to give school aged A&TSI kids a better opportunity in sport and life.. what a ******* disgrace.

Bloke may as well ripped off Cancer SA or something, poor form, an embarrassment, doesn't deserve to be a leader/role model/coach in amateur sport

Govt funds (regardless of the cause) not as bad as coaches/people that rip off their own Footy Club IMHO
So if those sort of people are given second chances not sure LB should also not be given a second chance

I heard over the weekend ODIW that the lodge a making a play for young gun Jai Mc'connell cant see the lad leaving the EAGS.
