If Port Districts can gel well early with the new coach I think they will be very good this year.
Good players on each line and some good midfielders now will ad to that.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Princes have about 8 missing from the GF. That might bring those two teams right back to the rest with maybe Goodwood the early favourite. Should be an interesting season.

23 changes with no matches in between must be some kind of record!

Love the famous vfl/afl stat that no premiership side has ever played another league game together.

Also 9 Reserves players from the GF team from 2021 playing A’s. 11 others out leaving 2 playing reserves from 2021 playing tomorrow in the Magoos, incredible.

TTG 15.8 d Old Iggies 13.8
Old Iggies are a well balanced side and played great footy to lead by 20 points mid way through the 3rd qtr, but Gullies wore them down in the last quarter to record a good win.

PNU win the GF rematch by a goal.

Tightly fought match but I suspect both sides felt the lack of trial matches with cramp taking a huge toll in the last quarter

PNU played very well
Lots of run
They won 3/4 quarters

I thought Brad McKenzie was outstanding
PNU playing games with best players as usual
I’m surprised Baulderstone didn’t get BOG

I don’t pretend to understand PlayHQ but I suspect difficult to name players it doesn’t recognise in the best

I'm not 100% on this but I reckon if a player marks his profile as private it may not show up

Watched the grand final replay on youtube.
Geez the commentators carried on about the PAOC midfield!

PNU then had 5 of the first 6 centre clearances (the other being a repeat stoppage).
PAOC only got 2 out of the first 11 of the game.

I think it finished PNU 11, PAOC 6 and 3 repeats.

Flogged in the guts, no wonder PNU knocked them off.
Oh and Viney up forward was too good for the bloke standing him.

I may be way of the pace here, but hearing lots went down in the Brighton Goody Saints game Saturday. Big night at the tribunal is the word. :( :(

A few sling tackles (19, 26:30 and 47:15) would be about it.

Brighton’s number 3 was his usual self and seemed to get away with one off camera around the 35 min mark.

Slight scuffle at 48:00 didn’t seem to have too much in it.

That’s all I noticed. Anything else in particular you’re referring to?

Wouldnt the brighton coach have warned the players to stop it?

I assume during the game the umpire gives a yellow card for the dangerous tackles or is it red?
