I wouldn't say they're sandbagging, I know a few of the lads playing D's and they're out there to play with each other*

Why don't they play together in the C's then

I watched both the C & D grade games and their D grade would've beaten their C grade easily.

Must be hard being the coach of the only side that lost to HV on the weeknd?

Oval is in great knick at the moment. We have been lucky with no really wet games. With the slope of the hill, one end will always cop when we get a weeks worth of heavy stuff. Without lights yet, it means it get a rest throughout the week. Scoreboard is looking great as well.
And we are not the clear benchmark. Under rating Salisbury west. We may have beaten them but they are kicking bigger scores than us against some teams and play a great brand of footy. We fell apart mid way through last year. Too early to tell yet

Have to disagree with you on two points there. The scoreboard was hard to read with those green numbers and also very noisy running off a generator. Bit of a waste of money IMO.
Secondly, golden grove will be 8-0 at the bye, clearly the benchmark. So what if Salisbury West are kicking bigger scores than what you are. You beat them. As long as you don't choke in the finals again you will be in Div 3 in 2015

Re: SAAFL Division 4 2014
Noisy? Wow. I know it's off a generator but it's not like it drowns out the sound of the game. Once lights go in, it be will on the alternate power so you won't have to bring the earbuds to harpers next time. Green is the best colour to use. Can be funny depending on the sun angle but again not a massive issue. IMHO it adds to the ground more than it takes away.

Didn't know that. Footy is about quick movement these days and wasn't sure Presslers loopy kicks cut it.
Thought he may be a chance once injuries set in though.

Pres has been great for us this year and the boys love having him around. Definitely brings some much needed experience to the group.
