Apparently the neighbour on his vacant land rolled up with some equipment to help prep it for building 2 units or something. Cops rolled up about 20mins later and waited for them to leave the property[emoji849][emoji849][emoji849][emoji849][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]

I just walked there then to get some food for work and nearly passed out wearing a mask. They ******* suck. I don't know how people can wear them all day. Just breathing in hot air. They're ******* shit.

The single use ones are shit. The cloth ones I can handle.

My understanding is that the strain is a "3 day" thing, hence why the 6 day lockdown.

As I'm not an expert on the matter I'll just do as I'm asked, I do wish that the state government learn from this mess, maybe consult the people when it comes to letting in planes full of people, it wasn't long ago that they wanted to start allowing international students in, a week is a long time during a pandemic.

The COVID-19 strain that escaped Peppers medi-hotel on Waymouth St and triggered a six-day lockdown across South Australia has an extremely short incubation period, with many infected showing no symptoms at all.

Chief Public Health Officer Professor Nicola Spurrier said when someone was exposed they became infectious within 24 hours or less, which was incredibly fast.

Spurrier is now saying its infectious within 24 hours or less. BUT they are only going to test the medi-hotel staff weekly.

Is it just me or are these people effing idiots?

First of all, they didn't deem testing necessary.
Then when the $hit hits the fan she says she's always been worried about it.
Now they're infectious within 24 hours and they're only going to test weekly

No new cases.

Surely we now see out this 6 days and then get back to normality (covid normality)

Even if we have no new cases tomorrow no point breaking this lockdown just yet. 6 days of pain for the greater good.

I’m still surprised there hasn’t been a major breakout from an airport.
They literally disembark in whatever they are wearing and touch plenty of surfaces along the way. Surely only a matter of time before a cleaner misses a small patch

Thats because is its no where near as contagious as they have you believing.
