Premiership Droughts
-Seaton Ramblers in the SAAFL would be right up there (1990 from memory)
-There are some clubs in Country SA that date back well over 50 years.

Who has been in the same division (aside from D1) the longest?
Intrigued as to how consistently someone can come between 3rd and 8th

Re: Longest Finals / Premiership Droughts
Aside from that I’d reckon;
Plympton & Flinders Park D3? I’d back Plympton just a bit longer...
Lockleys in D5 probably around the mark too.

You'd be right LK,
Pretty sure Plympton have been in Div 3 since 2014 (8 years now) after winning the 2013 Div 4 GF.
Flinders Park were relegated from Div 2 in 2014, making it 7 years in Div 3 for them.

Locks were in Div 6 in 2015 and been in Div 5 ever since, was probably a fair run of Div 5 prior to that also though.

I don't reckon Dutchy. I remember playing against Lockleys when they were in div 6 (07) and i reckon they went up a couple of years later and then back down in one year.

Yeh, certain there was more time in div 6 than div 5 prior to 2015

Yes, but it was a long time ago. Early to mid 2000’s I can recall them in D6 after winning the D7 flag.

What do you expect? Crabs can't go forward or backwards, only sideways.

Mid to Late 90’s they were in Div 5 as we played against them at North Haven.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.
