Great game at Oval Avenue. Both sides went for it as they had nothing to lose with Westies showing tremendous spirit and skill despite a run of narrow losses. Kobe Ryan was everywhere and the Westies talls were too tall for us. Jesse Lonergan was cheered off by both teams at the end and a good vibe with the Westies boys at the club after the game. Reminds us why SANFL is the best comp.

More evidence for the current Westies to say the green shoots are maturing and we’re on the right track
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
