Geelong likely to give danger on average 800k over 5 and front end the contract to 1.2m a season for the first two years to try and price out the crows
Collingwood's $1.4mill a year and good flag opportunities will beat Geelong's offer

Depends what you want from your career. The majority chase $$ or flags, not sure the Crows can offer either. Think you also have to deal with the 2 team small town mentality, a lot of ex SA guys love it over in Melbourne and alot of the Melbourne guys would be reluctant to come to Adelaide. As much as I love this place I would think Adelaide would be the least desireable city to attract players.

Swings and roundabouts.
Live in SA on $750k p.a and you can live in a stunning home wherever you like. Live in Melbourne on $750k p.a. and whilst still comfortable, it wouldn't be beach frontage or penthouse style. Reportedly $750k p.a isn't enough to buy a place in Sydney, you need 10% more than that.
Live in Melbourne and business or media opportunities are at least ten fold on what Adelaide can offer.
Live in Adelaide and in 20 minutes you're anywhere that's worth being at. 20 minutes in Melbourne and you might have got through a set of lights.
So both have their own charm, attractions and drawbacks.

Hey I agree, love Adelaide but the majority of players would rather immerse themselves in the Melbourne footy culture and as you said the media work that comes with it. Others prefer Sydney due to the fact you can still walk around fairly unknown whilst Perth and the Gold Coast are seen more as party areas lol. Its always been harder for the two Adelaide sides to attract the big stars or woo ex SA boys home
