I'd go with Meghan - but I'd be thinking of Kate.

The Barmy Army.

I love the atmosphere they provide at the cricket full stop, but their tribute chant in memory of Phil Hughes yesterday was absolutely top shelf.

I do like the atmosphere they create, having said that a little bit of shoosh from time to time doesn't hurt. ;)

Apart from the terrible circumstances, it sounds like their luck is about to change.

Well done Jase! Very exciting!

Good man, know a couple of blokes who've done similar a while back. Anyone doing something like this should be commended, I hope it all goes well for you and your new additions.

That is awesome to hear. Congratulations!

I used to be a youth worker and looked after some kids who had seen and experienced some real hard trauma! The environment they were in only ostracized them more and exacerbated their behaviours, perpetuating the cycle and it was hard to watch sometimes. One of the main issues was the lack of alternatives like foster carers and that is partly due to the hoops that people had to jump through and the long winded process of being accepted as a foster carer.

How did you find the process Jase?
How long did it take?
Are you and Mrs Jase still working or will one of you be home full time with the kids?

I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Hey NG...

We went to our first information session with Lutheran Community Care in July... We then started 5 weeks of training, in things such as Cultura Connnections, Dealing with Grief and Loss, Abuse, etc. These were 5 Saturday's in a row from 9:00 until approx 3:00pm each Saturday.

There were also 6 home visits which were 2 hours each, where two of the Assessment team members of LCC came and interviewed us and the Kids.

We also had to do FIrst Aid Training so that was another Saturday, DCSI checks, Child Safe Environment training and a Household safety review...

So it was a pretty full on period from start to finish but it wil be worth it in the end.

Mrs Jase is pumped as the Girls and Boys are now even in the Jase Household...

:)

I'm with you, we had offered to care for two young sisters for one night a week to relieve a couple who had taken on the task via their employment, we had to jump through a mountain of hoops to come into consideration, I'm eager to ask Jase if they are actually the same two girls, I hope so.

Controversial, but I rate Milo Yiannopoulos.

Don't necessarily agree with things he says, but I thoroughly enjoy him going head to head with people, particularly tv show hosts that think they have the most.. he just rips them apart ruthlessly and it's entertaining viewing.

Depends on the subject matter he's discussing at the time. Some I'll cop, some I can't.

He's certainly got a profile at the moment and he's using it to his best ability. I mean, making money.
