Superb idea, that old rivarly had never reached its full potential. I reckon Pooraka and the Farms have only been in the same ammo Div for one year. SAFA was different but the Farms went backwards after a few years. Farm Bulls for me.The Bedge wrote:You're all so mean.![]()
Can't wait to merge with Pooraka.. we can drop the Bulldogs from the 'farm and just be "Ingle Farm Bulls". Always hated the colour green too, so happy to swap that our for Blue or Red.![]()
We will keep Lindblom though, can run half our juniors out of there during the season.

I love the green and white, dark green jumper with the Bully on the front was the best.gadj1976 wrote:Headline of tomorrow's Crapvertiser:The Bedge wrote:You're all so mean.![]()

I did grow up in the stripes and that will always mean a lot.
Broke my arm in the U10s one year and they cut the jumper from the bottom up to get it off, still got it.
I can't believe how tiny it is, wool as well, funny as.

some of those players were playing Div 3R at the former club the new coach came fromSecretInformant wrote:Have heard they've done the same thing with Division 3 players. I think the body of this has some truth to it - but he's got the club wrong - Kenilworth definitely isn't the club that did it.
Wrong side of town.

It doesn't matter what the club does re Life Members.Footy Chick wrote:LaughingKookaburra wrote:Pardon?Observer55 wrote:Believe the committee rewrote their life Membership stipulations to include any Premiership Players, so a few Sons of former Guns could make their way ‘home’ together as 0 Point players the following season.Local GSFL Man wrote:Kenilworth have been throwing around the $$$ at fringe GSFL players and been unsuccessful

The CFL rules apply equally to all clubs
When the APPS came in, one club paid the price for being so smart (bragged about it, then pleaded ignorance when caught)
But.............roll the dice and see what happens

Re: 2026 Adelaide Footy League - Division 5
Early Ladder Prediction
Salisbury - recruited lots and talking up premierships
Greenacres/ML or whatever they're called. Added to a squad that lost a Prelim
Woodville South - slow start 2025 cost them so should be ready from round 1 after gelling well late. Very good top end talent
Pooraka - continue to recruit Div 1 B graders that normally go well in div 5, Borg back is big in
SMOSH - Haven't heard much but proud club who would want to go back up the div's and got good people involved for it to happen
Fitzroy - seemed to have added to last years div 6 premiership side, Danielle is a good pick up
E/P - heard few leaving, heard signed a few. Quiet on socials so not sure but expect to slide with the losses i do know of (Knapp Warner Wellington Kovacic etc)
Portland - just a guess with no real idea of comings/goings. Very good top end talent, need to add some depth. B grade was horrific last year
Kenilworth - could be wrong here but not hearing anything great and may continue to slide
St Pauls - traditionally struggle in 5 and believe lost a few

I rate this, Never an easy task and generally people will chime in to inform you what's wrong whilst giving no holistic predictions of their own.beef wrote:Early Ladder Prediction

My tips without much confidence or too much research at this stage are...
Promotion ; Greenacres and Poorakaraka
Dark horse ; Fitzroy
Relegation ; Portland and Kenilworth

Re: 2026 Adelaide Footy League - Division 5
Big in for Salisbury in Ricky Thomas. Played some Div 1 A grade last year and will provide valuable leadership to the group.
Will be interesting to see how close or far off I was with having Greenacres as a promotion tip with them playing Virginia at Sneakys Oval next month. If they can take care of the Rams then they should be right around the mark. Only a trial i know but generally a good guide on whether you are leading into your season with genuine excitement and expectation or just blind cockeyed optimism.

large exodus judging by the socials and I hear they are focusing on a culture shift of people that want to be there.
Crump, Scott, Duong just of the top of my head have gone and id assume a few others in that circle will too.
Great people at Kenilworth so hopefully they hang in their this year, Hope I'm pleasantly surprised. I always look forward to my week trip back to Adelaide to catch up with the people at the club
