In my opinion even if it was deemed as "clumsy" he has still run past and elbowed him flush in the head at pace, that's going to upset any environment and it was in full view of the home crowd and umpire. The Kenilworth bloke deserved his send off as you can't do that on a footy field however there should have been an initial send off also. A bit of credit goes to both clubs with some restraint as that had the potential to get reallllll ugly.
That's footy and I've seen much worse an incident overall in my 15 years of senior footy. All the best to Hope Valley for the rest of the year.
agreed

Isn't that the definition of rugby? One guy, pushing 2 guys heads into 3 guys asses?

It's sad that a bloke running past and throwing a big elbow to the head at pace is still another incident that happens in amatuer footy. I'm not bagging your club just can't believe that there is still that thug element running around every week.
Have nearly finished my first full season of rugby union and have not seen one incident close to that despite the fact the rugby guys smash the living suit cases out of each other within the rules.

Yep talking about what I have seen at amatuer level compared to what I have seen over 13 years of playing and watching senior ammo football

He's comparing his experiences with amateur RU to amateur Aussie Rules - and I don't think he's all that far of the mark either..

i think WOS will hold onto 5th and then look out because they are finals specialists and a couple of players have come back into the mix like rusby and pearce and i see sherwood has played 2 games..
heccies and glenunga relegated..that 1 point loss against the kookas has become season defining for heccies..

Only 1 team will be relegated from Div 4

It's a tough one - the things that work in our favour is that NH traditionally don't travel that well on HV oval - Salisbury is an unknown as most of them wouldn't have played on HV oval since juniors but may get a bit lost by the restricted space..
Here's hoping

Last time I played at HV was 2003 as an Under 17. Last time the clubs met at A Grade level was 2002.
